Stonewood HOA Governing Documents

Stonewood HOA was established by Articles of Incorporation in 1972.
Our governing documents include:
-
Articles of Incorporation (1972)
-
Bylaws (1972 and revised in 1977)
-
Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&R’s) (1972)
-
Stonewood Townhomes Rights and Rules (date unknown)
The Rights and Rules document does not indicate when it was written, but legal citations law suggest that it was some time before 2014.
Members have lobbied the Board of Directors to update the governing documents to bring them in line with current technology and into compliance with current state laws.
It is a violation of the Davis Stirling Act for an HOA to charge a fee to members for governing documents beyond the cost of making copies.
Even though sending email is free, Lordon Management has been instructed by the Stonewood HOA President to charge a fee when members request governing documents via email.

The governing documents are available for property owners to download for free on the Lordon Management website, but their site is not organized in a way that makes these documents easy to find.

If you are an owner who wants to download the rules and other governing documents, send an email to stonewoodconnect@gmail.com and we will send you detailed instructions on how to locate and download them for free.
